About the Author
Reverend Shirley D. Hamilton, affectionately “Shirley”, is a loyal daughter to God the Father, God the Son, and God, the Holy Spirit. Shirley knows her calling is not about her, but about the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
She has served the Lord as a member of a gospel group (Voices of Divine Love), president of an usher ministry, and instructor for new members in corporate fellowship. After receiving her calling to preach the Word of God, she accepted her call to the ministry in 1989. She was licensed to preach the Gospel in 1997 and ordained in 2015.
After graduating from New London High School, Shirley received an associate degree of science from Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, CT. She completed two years of Christian Education at The Adult Christian Education Foundation Bethel Series at Shiloh Baptist Church in New London, CT, where she received a certificate of completion.
Shirley is a devoted wife to her husband of 38 years, Elder Kenneth Hamilton, who encourages her in the ministry that she has been called to. They reside in New London, CT.
